MARIMEKKO Poppy Fabric Face Mask Unikko

Designer fabric face mask made with Marimekko cotton design “Poppy” by Maija Isola. This cotton mask is standard adult size, washable and reusable, eco-friendly option to keep one well covered when travel, work or commute.
Please note, the fabric pattern positioning may vary on your specific mask. (If you would like to see an actual pic, just message me.) Each mask comes with a 100% cotton backing for more protection and 3mm cord side elastic to fit over the ears. The mask is cut and sewn according to the base instructions from Vanderbilt University Medical Center. (The piece starts with 9 x 6 inch rectangular pieces, pleats are added with sewing.) They are handmade “fashion” masks, I make no medical claims with regards to the usage of these masks. Wearing a fun color and a pattern you like will certainly brighten the task of having to wear one.
Now you can choose a mask with either adjustable elastic or an ear saver! Ear saver hooks to the elastic loops with buttons behind your head to take pressure of the ears for people with sensitive ears.
This fabric is standard weight washable cotton. I recommend air dry, iron with light steam (don’t iron elastic). The size of the mask is adult medium (or standard).

Marimekko fabric Poppy “Unikko” is an authentic vintage design by Marimekko’s most famous designer Maija Isola.
This is how Marimekko lists the care instructions:
“Wash separately in plenty of water the first few times to remove any excess dye that may have remained on the fabric surface. Do not soak, machine wash hot at 140F/60C, do not use chlorine bleach, do not tumble dry, iron hot, dry clean allowed.”
