A layer of copper is formed using an electrolytic bath, it is essentially transported from a solid copper to an object using electricity. The layer of copper forms slowly over many hours of time.
Labradorite has a dark body tone but it is the iridescence that gives the stone its dynamic, lively nature (labradorescence). This particular stone has beautiful lighter blue flashes below the rustic hazy surface. Labradorite stones appear different depending on which angle the light reflects from the surface. The colors flashes are not visible from all angles, but the angle that you see them can appear very bright.
