Iolite stone, carefully electroformed with copper, a great rustic stone with complimenting copper texture. Iolite is the stone of the Vikings, it is generally blue, this particular piece is rough cut and has a real personality. Great for rustic ocean lovers and nature seekers as well as any Viking minded person.
Comes default with 17″ brown cord and lobster claw clasp. (Please send a message if you would like another color, they are periodically in stock.) This size of Iolite stone is about 3/4″ (22mm).

Iolite is the stone of the Vikings (also known as Water Saphire). They used it as a polarizing filter to help navigate the seas and find the location of the sun. This special piece of Iolite is rough cut directly from the supplier at the mines. I electroform a rustic coating of copper that complements the stone. This Iolite electroformed copper pendant is a very special little specimen, great for Vikings, sea farers and other ocean lovers or nature seekers.
